How We Do It

Burlington Lions work hard to raise funds to support our various service activities and donations. In addition to special fundraisers from time to time, the Lions regularly raise money through these programs: (Click on the heading for more information)

Burlington Centre Farmers' Market

operates Wednesday, Friday and Saturday

from May through October

Meet the vendors and buy fresh vegetables, baked goods, meats, cheese and much more

PetValu Walk for Dog Guides

Every year, usually in May, volunteer walkers in Burlington and dozens of other cities and towns across Canada solicit pledges and walk with their pets, or just accompany others. Funds raised go to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guide School to provide service dogs at no charge to people who need them.

Eye Glasses Donations

Your old eyeglasses may no longer be right for you, but they may be just right for someone somewhere else in the world. Donations of un-needed eyeglasses are accepted at many locations around Burlington.
